Interview with Judith Keim, Author of The Desert Flowers: Willow

What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write The Desert Flowers: Willow? I loved the idea of three women of different ages but with a shared love for a man and coming together to help him. What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write? Women’s fiction of all kinds – I write romantic women’s fiction. What books are on your TBR pile right now? Too many to mention. What scene in your book was your favorite to write? The scene on the hill with the memorial service. Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.) I love dachshunds… we have two at the moment – Winston (15) and Wally (4). Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by? Be true to myself. If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be? That everyone deserves love and kindness.
